I am grateful...

For the extra money I will pay in taxes this year.
(I must have made more money then last year)

For all the things that I don't have.
(I have so much to look forward to)

For the mess that got left behind from the Christmas Party I hosted.
(I was surrounded by great friends)

For the love and attention, I didn't feel I got as a child.
(it's made me so aware not be miserly with my affections as an adult)

For all the times I struggled and failed in my life.
(it's made me appreciate what I have and led me to want to help others)

For my son and his buddy who left a mess last night after watching a movie.
(they could have been out doing drugs or drinking and driving)

For that nagging feeling, I carried around for a long time. That I wasn't doing enough with my life.
(it stirred me to start writing and has led me to a world of opportunities and most importantly to the life changing realization....life was meant to be fun, easy and over-flowing with abundance.
