Self Help and Commercialism

A couple of months ago, I bought a self-help type book on the internet. As a bonus, I received a ton of free stuff. Sounds good right? Truth is....not so much!

What I actually received was never ending emails trying to sell me other books and video programs. Oh, I got some free email reports and mini ebooks, but reality was it was all to sell me more stuff.

Christmas is just around the corner and lucky me....they keep offering me presents. Now I can save a bundle if I buy their stuff, NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

I'm thinking that if you want to convince me of your sincerity, you should give up the commercialism and trying to make a buck off of me, for at least a few days so I can enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

I probably shouldn't go on a rant at this time of the year but I would sooner see my inbox full of Christmas messages from friends then from self help gurus trying to squeese out one last buck from me!
