Money does buy happiness

"admit it... like me, you never bought into that old line that money can't buy happiness"
Money can buy happiness and there is new research to prove it! Researchers at the University of British Columbia demonstrated that even spending as little as $5 can make you happier. And since my greatest wish is for you to be happier, I will reveal all in another Truthteller exclusive.
So the question is....what could you buy yourself for just $5 that would make you much happier? Researchers conducted a survey where they gave one group $5 and told them to go buy a present for themselves. The other group were told to buy someone else a present or give it to a charity. Then they measured their happiness. Guess which group reported the most increased happiness?
The researchers also measured the happiness of employees after receiving profit sharing bonuses of $3,000 to $8,000. They found that those who spent their windfall on others were dramatically happier than those who spent it on themselves. The findings were so remarkable that it was necessary to analyze the data again to ensure it's accuracy.
"I want you to be happy, in fact I want you to be really happy"
So I've designed a masterplan that make all the readers of this blog happy (it's the least I can do). I want everyone to send me $5 and I promise that you will feel much happier. I will buy myself presents and let you know how happy I am. If you all do this I might even take another vacation, which will make me really happy and you can share in my happiness at the same time.
I know what you are thinking...but Eduardo, what if I don't just want to be a little happy, what if I want to be mega-happy? No problemo, empty out your bank accounts and send it to me immediately. I promise we will both be mega-happy!
Smile, I'm here for you!
Eduardo
